Open the front door and you will find a light an airy double aspect open plan living room with views to the delightful gardens with well stocked flower gardens and fruit trees and beyond, in the distance, the church spire and the pretty village of Massignac.

The cottage has been sympathetically furnished to a high standard; there is a well equipped kitchen with range cooker, washing machine, fridge and coffee maker.

The farmhouse dining table comfortably seats six people and there is a high chair available upon request.

There is a spacious lounge area with large leather sofa and a large screen LCD TV with UK Satellite TV, DVD player and WIFI internet is also available to enable you, if you decide, to keep in touch with the outside world.

An imposing Charentaise fireplace is the centre piece of the room with an Opti-myst wood burner for those chillier autumn and winter nights and to ensure that you are cosy even on the coldest of days the cottage offers full central heating.

Although we are not able to cater to the needs of physically disabled people, for those whom are less able to use stairs, there is a beautifully decorated double room downstairs, as well as a toilet and shower room.

Climb the ancient curling wooden stairs and you will find a pleasant relaxation/reading area for moments of quiet reflection after a busy day …

Off of which lead to two further sumptuous bedrooms one double and one twin-bedded and a bathroom with bath and large walk-in shower.

All towels and linen is included in the cost of your stay – so one less thing to worry about and we will refresh your linen at the end of each week of your stay.

We have striven to provide everything which we think that you will need to make your stay at Les Petites Cerises memorable one and many little extras, such as picnic baskets and bike hire can be arranged on request.

The cottage is semi-detached, with the proprietors next door so assistance is available if required.

There is ample private parking to the front of the property and a private enclosed patio area at the rear ideal for morning coffee and fresh croissants, from the local artisan Boulangerie just five minutes away in Massignac.

Alternatively explore the hidden nooks and crannies in the large garden and just sit and soak up the sun and tranquility of this stunning location.
